The Chuck Mathena Center is being built for and about the community. To date, it has taken countless hours and hundreds of dedicated volunteers just to get the first shovel into the ground. From here on, it is going to require even more human resources to keep moving forward. Volunteering is not just about the labor of your hands. The most valuable resource you have (other than your checkbook) is your imagination. We need your ideas. In today's economic climate, performing arts facilities generate on the average about 60% of their working capital from the programs they produce. At the Chuck Mathena Center, we want to keep your hands busy, but we want to challenge your mind too.
