Scheduled
to open to the public June 2008, The Chuck Mathena Center for the
Performing and Fine Arts will provide a wealth of opportunities for
you, your family, and members of all Southern West Virginia and
Southwestern Virginia communities. The excitement is growing and you
will experience performance opportunities never before available
locally. You, your children and your families will share in the
plans, the programs, and the celebration of this new multi-purpose
facility. You won't want to miss a performance.
Whether you take a walk down the red carpet for a quiet evening of
entertainment, a family outing to a preschooler’s first dance
recital, or a reunion with classmates from years past, The Chuck
Mathena Center will provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Expect
outstanding professional artists, quality entertainment, and
educational opportunities that will meet the needs of the community.
